About the Club

How many members do we have?

We have about 50 active members and over 200 people on our mailing list.

What kind of trips do we run?

We have weekend trips about once a fortnight. Sometimes, if enough people want to, we may have day trips on Wednesday afternoons.

Where do we go?

In the U.K. we go to the Mendips (Somerset), South Wales, Devon, Derbyshire, Yorkshire and Ireland.

On international expeditions we have been to the Dachstein (Austria), Dent Les Crolles (France) and Yunnan (China).

How much will this all cost?

To come on any of our trips you must first become a member of our club. This costs £20 for a years membership.

Trips to the Mendips and South Wales will cost £25-£30. Trips to Derbyshire and Yorkshire will cost £40-£60, depending on how long the trip is.

What kind of kit will I need?

We will provide all of the caving kit you need for trip, from oversuits to ropes and ladders. It is a good idea to have your own pair of wellies as we cannot always guarantee we will have your size.
